Y’all remember this guy? Stereoman aka Ekwe ruled the airwaves with his hit of the millennium, Sample Ekwe. The intriguing thing about this song would be how the flutes were played on a music key totally different from the vocals. Regardless, the Warri first born had fun and even showed an incredible hold of his cultural dance art in the dated video.

The skelewus and sekems and etighis are some fresh stuff but this Ekwe is the original sh**! Little wonder he’s called “Original Stereoman”. The last we heard of him would be 2012 when he was arrested for the alleged murder of his baby mama. So whatever became of that, I cannot categorically tell y’all.
