على حبيبك خير الخلق كلهم
Upon Your beloved, the best of the entire creation

May Allah’s salutations be upon him
البدر كطلعته وجه جميل
The moon – like his countenance – a beautiful face
والشمس كبسمته ظل ظليل
And the sun – like his smile – a comforting shade
هو عبد الله سيد الخلق و مصطفاه
He is the servant of Allah, the master of creation and His Chosen One
وحبيب الله خير مبعوث لوحي الله
And he’s Allah’s beloved, the best Messenger that came with Allah’s revelation

هو خير عباد الله خير البرايا
He is the best of Allah’s servants, the best of all creatures
حي فينا بهداه حلو الوصايا
He is alive inside us with his guidance, his teachings are delightful
نسألك الله تجمعنا يوما برسول الله
We ask you, O Allah, to gather us one day together with the Messenger of Allah
من كوثره يروينا فتقبل يا رباه
And to allow us to drink from his Fountain, O Allah please accept!

طاهر القلب نقي ذاكر لله
With a clean heart, a pure being, constantly engaged in the remembrance of Allah
المصطفى الصفي صلى عليه الله
The Chosen One, the Elect One, Allah’s peace be upon him
أخلاقه و صفاته سبحان من سواه
His manners and qualities – Glory to He who created him!
